Luciana Black has been known here and in Brazil, where she is originally from,
as competent, enthusiastic and very professional teacher.
She is the only child and her father had a devastating stroke when she was
only four years old. At same time, her mom had to work as housekeeper to
support the family's need and also buy the very expensive medicines that
her dad would have to take in other to keep him alive.
So, she grew up knowing in the very young age what life was about and so forth
that she had to be responsible and cooperative with her parents because besides
all the problems they have to struggle with financial crisis.
She used to be one of the best students in her class even having to deal with
the hard reality of having to take care of her dad when her mom was at work.
But she decided that she was going to do something to help her family and herself.
Time went by and Luciana has always been curious and had passion to learn almost
about anything. As very dedicated student she earned scholarship from the Brazilian
government, which opened doors for her here in this country.
Nowadays, she has been sharing her knowledge and talent as a teacher since
1995 teaching diverse ages and cultures.
She has always taught English and Portuguese at well-known language schools
in Brazil such as C.C.A.A., Michigan, Wizard, Colegio Objetivo and several
public schools.
Here in the United States she is teaching English and Portuguese in San Francisco-CA
and also combining her day job working as a nanny and promoting her career
as model and samba dancer.
Luciana Black has multitasking skills, she paints canvas "acrylic painting",
she makes jewelry, design her own clothing, works with art & craft and
loves cooking. As far as we can see, Luciana Has a successful future and she
is willing to work harder and give her best to make things happen.
